Norway mackerel fishing remains slow at 'peak season'; Icelandic herring still strong

Norwegian mackerel fishing was still slow going in week 40 of 2018, despite this being "peak season", noted the country's pelagic sales body, Sildelaget. The weather and catches improved slightly from week 39, with 24,000 metric tons registered as caught.
